  1. Is a market dip really a correction?

    When the market goes down
It truly should not be called a correction.

    The definition of Correction means
    * a change that rectifies an error or inaccuracy. This being so would imply that when the market goes up that it was wrong. Are we wrong for making a profit?

Perhaps when the market goes up we really should begin to call it a correction being that this is what most of us are wanting as a result.

Perhaps calling a dip a pull back is more appropriate?
